Magazine Pictures

 

This picture I am going to use as my cover, because it's clear on what nurses do as their job and what they are allowed to do in their job. 

     These are my pictures that I took for my magazine project. These pictures come from an actual doctors office and I took pictures of what a nurse practitioner does and what their daily job requires such as check ups and weighing patients. Also using gloves and mask to do daily procedures. Then a stethoscope to check patients heart beats and how they are breathing. Then lastly I chose to do a needle and medicine to show that nurses also give patients medicine with certain requirements. All of these pictures represent the daily requirements of a nurse practitioners job.  

Magazine Problem

 Working on my magazine project I have come across a problem. It has been difficult getting pictures for my project, because the pictures I need to get involve going to a doctors office and taking pictures there, but I haven't had the time to go get the pictures. Also I am having trouble deciding what kind of pictures I want to take for my project. I know I want to use health tools but I dont know excatly what tools I want to use in my project yet.

Table of Contents Layout

 This is the layout we are going to do for our table of contents. In our table of contents we want to add running pieces and have health facts, health occupations and featured articles which can include the tools in the medical field or the medicine. This magazine will feature about 60 pages of information on health and healthcare.

Fonts for Magazine

    All of the fonts above are what we considered doing for the title and the article font. With much considerastion we have chosen the last font for the title and it's called Freestyle Script in 125 number font. For the article/interview we chose to do the second one and it's called Copperplate Gothic Light and we haven't choosen a number font for that one yet. We chose to do these fonts for our magazine, because both fonts represent the way we want our magazine to look.

Magazine Layout

For my magazine project I am going to do a questions and answers layout. The questions will involve the questions I asked my aunt who is a nurse practitioner and I am asking about her job. The answers will provide what she does in her daily job. When I layout the magazine I will put the questions in bold and the answers in regular font. But I am putting Q and A next to the questions and answers. So you can tell which is the questions and which one is the answers.

Interview Questions and Answers

      

   These are my interview questions and answers that I did with my aunt who is a nurse practitioner. It talks about her daily routine as a nurse and what education it involves to get there and what kind of skills it takes to be a nurse practitioner. I am going to put this in my magazine as a Q and A and have pictures of nurses doing their daily job and tools you use in the job.
