Critical Creative Reflection draft

 2. My product engages with the audiences because it is a health magazine. This helps people engage in healthy activities and lifestyles. This magazine is mostly going to appeal people that are involved or are interested in health. The people buying are product because they want an education on health and want to learn more, but people not really interested in health lifestyles and activities are not going to be interested in the magazine.The types of articles in the magazine are workout tips, health supplies and health careers. So the people interested in workouts and learning how to be fit may be appealed. Also the people interested in health supplies may appeal to the magazine so they can see latest gear and supplies and may want to go to the store and buy it. The people interested in health careers may appeal to the magazine because we get exclusive interviews from people that work in the health industry and they tell us what the job takes and why they like their job.
   My product would be distributed as a real media text because we would sell our product in grocery stores. By selling it in a grocery more people would see our magazine and would be open to more groups of people rather than just health people. For example if we sold our magazine at a grocery store someone may see the magazine and see that we have workout tips and health interviews and it could appeal to that person who necessarily isn't going to go to a gym to workout and doctors office to ask questions about health. Another place I would sell my product is a hospital. By selling my magazine at a hospital people already interested in health work there so people in that industry would appeal to the magazine because it is what they do for a living. The last place I would distribute my magazine is a health clinic. Selling in a health clinic could become a big deal because patients that need to get healthy go in and out, and by the patients seeing the magazine they may want to buy the magazine to get tips on getting healthy and fit. Overall distributing my magazine would be the same as a real media text because generally magazines are sold in places that appeal it's certain audience and most are sold in grocery stores where everyone goes to shop. I would market my magazine by giving free 2 week subscriptions in a health clinic by getting a good word out and then more people would want to to pay to get a weekly subscription.
